Riding and Wining

The Snowbird Century bicycle ride has a new route this year that highlights some fun and unique South Florida spots. The ride begins at the Fruit and Spice Park and takes you through the Southern Glades Wildlife and Environmental Area. You’ll be able to rest and enjoy the critters of the Everglades and then pedal over to the test site of the world’s largest solid rocket motor. As you ride, you will also have the opportunity to stop at the new Schnebly Redland’s Winery where, for three dollars, you can sample some tropical fruit wine. And just because the title contains the word century doesn’t mean you have to wear yourself out riding 100 miles. The event also offers 25 , 41 , and 62 mile options.
