Don’t pinch yourself — you’re not dreaming. Miami is undergoing an invasion of the hugest, hardest bodybuilders and fitness models you’ve ever seen. It’s Universe Weekend, and the gods and goddesses of every fitness magazine, TV program, and fetish video are in town to compete for titles such as Ms. Bikini Universe and Musclemania Universe Champion. So be prepared to feast your eyes on even more swollen pecs and oiled-up glutes than you find on Ocean Drive. If you’re as amazed by the eye candy as you are by the competition, don’t miss the posing and flexing at the James L. Knight Center.

“This is our 10th annual event, and they keep getting bigger. We’re featured on ESPN International, and we’re expecting 500 competitors from the U.S. and around the world,” says event coordinator Joe Trejo. “Agents and producers of all kinds come to scout for talent; we’ve had models go to WWE — some become ring girls, fitness models ... once we had Calvin Klein scouts cast three of our girls.” Hey, we’re not going to scout for anything but sexiness. Say, “Come hither, big boy,” from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. It’ll cost you $30 for an all-day pass, $50 for two days, and $100 for the VIP two-day pass. Call 888-770-9000, or visit www.universeweekend.com for a complete schedule.
